Nonprofit leaders are under real pressure to deliver more with less. It is stressful, it is isolating, and it is a straight road to burnout. The GROW Revenue Program was built to change that. Over twelve weeks, you learn the GROW Model and use its templates and tools to build your own fund development plan, with live coaching and a cohort of peers building alongside you.

Is this you?

Frustrated by a lack of results? Ask. Apply. Deny. Rinse. Repeat. Pouring time and effort into fundraising that yields little back is demoralizing for your team and your donors. The GROW Revenue Program gives you the knowledge and skills to raise funds well, as you build a fund development plan that fits your organization and your schedule.

Is chasing the wrong money diluting your impact? Tempting funding shows up that does not quite fit your mission, and suddenly you are spending resources you do not have on work you did not set out to do. See how a clear fund development plan, an abundance mindset, and a firm sense of purpose help you find the right opportunities and protect your focus.

Is leaning on one funding source putting you at risk? Annual operating grants are wonderful, until they are all you have. Relying on a single source leaves your organization exposed and caps how much you can grow. Learn how to diversify your funding and build the relationships and resources to serve your community for years to come.

Training you can trust

The GROW Revenue Program was designed for nonprofit leaders by Kathy Arney, who brings two decades of fundraising and finance experience and a rare view from both sides of the money. She has spent those years walking beside nonprofit leaders as they build the revenue to fund their work. Over twelve weeks, you build the confidence and the competence to meet your fundraising challenges head on, diversify your funding, and turn effort into results that last.

FAQs About KEA Canada’s GROW Revenue Program

What is the GROW Revenue Program?

KEA Canada’s twelve-week cohort program that helps nonprofit leaders build their own fund development plan rooted in donor relationships. Built on the GROW Model, it focuses on philanthropic revenue: individual giving, major gifts, grants, and lasting donor relationships. It combines self-paced lessons, live coaching, and peer learning so leaders can put a real plan into action with confidence. (The GROW Revenue Program was previously known as the Revenue Accelerator Program.)

What makes the GROW Revenue Program different?

It was created by Kathy Arney, a CPA and philanthropy expert with more than twenty years in the sector. She brings a rare approach to fund development, backed by a career in both finance and fundraising.

Who should join the GROW Revenue Program?
Nonprofit and charitable leaders who want to strengthen how they raise money from donors and funders, at any experience level. Whether you are a seasoned leader or new to the role, if you are committed to diversifying your funding, this program is for you.
I'm not the executive director. Can I still join?

Yes. The program welcomes fundraisers, development staff, and other nonprofit leaders, not only executive directors. Reach out to Kathy, and she will help you decide whether it is a good fit for where you are.

Can more than one person from my organization take the program at the same time?
Yes, and it can be a real advantage. Working through the program together means your team shares the same language and the same tools, and you can build your plan side by side. Reach out if you would like to bring more than one person and we will sort out the details.
What's included?
Twelve pre-recorded lessons you take on your own schedule, six live group sessions, and one private coaching session near the end. You also join the course LinkedIn group, gain ongoing access to the alumni community, and keep the program resources and recordings.
What's the time commitment?
The program runs over twelve weeks, with two to three hours a week to engage the material, complete the work, and take part in live sessions. It was built around a busy leader’s schedule, and sessions are recorded so you can keep learning even if you miss one live.
Do I need fundraising experience?
No prior experience is required. The program builds confidence from the ground up, while still offering depth that experienced fundraisers value.
Does it cover social enterprise or earned income?
The program focuses on fundraising and donor development, not social enterprise or earned-income ventures. Participants work on what builds philanthropic revenue: full program costing, a deliberate donor and gift strategy, the donor pipeline, board engagement, the ask, donor stewardship, and the metrics that track progress.
Are there ways to help cover the cost?
There may be funding available to help offset the cost. Grant and training-support programs change often, so it is worth checking the current opportunities in your province or region. If you would like a hand knowing where to look, just ask.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Participants who complete the program receive a certificate recognizing the work they have put into strengthening how their organization funds its mission.
