It’s hard to believe that KEA Canada had its sixth anniversary this fall. We are both proud and humbled by the opportunities we have had to support incredible organizations as they work to grow their impact and do good.
Growing our impact and support means growing the team, and I am so pleased to officially welcome James Perkins and Emily Bocking to our talented team! Both based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, they work with Saskatchewan-based nonprofits, as well as supporting our work in other parts of the country.
We find inspiration every day through the people and organizations we work with, and we are honoured and grateful to support all of our clients in achieving their goals. Here are some examples of the incredible organizations that we are proud to support:
The Markin-MacPhail Westside Legacy Trail in the Columbia Valley, BC is a spectacular new multi-use trail that is now rideable end-to-end and nearing the finish line.
The team at Wellspring Family Resource and Crisis Centre in Whitecourt Alberta is doing incredible work supporting their community.
R6 Ranch is establishing a social enterprise, a working ranch that will provide people, particularly teens, with the opportunity to connect to working ranch animals and the wilderness of Kananaskis country.
The Cottonwood Lake Preservation Society in Nelson, BC is leading the charge to preserve an important and beautiful part of the region.
The Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan supports all people fighting addiction and exploring new ways to fund the critical services they provide.
The City of Fort St. John is demonstrating their visionary thinking by establishing a new Community Foundation.
